  • 1 pound milky mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
  • 1 green chili pepper, sliced (optional for heat)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh cilantro leaves for garnish


  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the sliced onions and saut√© until they become translucent.
  • Add the minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced green chili pepper (if using). Stir-fry for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced milky mushrooms to the skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until they become tender.
  • Season the mushrooms with soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using). Stir well to coat themushrooms evenly. If you prefer a vegetarian version, you can omit the oyster sauce.
